Grower Highlight: Purple Skies Farm
Flowers abound at Purple Skies Farm.
The Grace Brothers CSA Program purchases greens from Purple Skies Farm, located in our community of North Royalton on State Road. We love local food and how close Purple Skies is to our shop…
Purple Skies Farm grows lettuce, arugula, carrots, strawberries, raspberries, asparagus, sugar snap peas, and flowers. The farm is voluntarily organic, using sustainable growing practices.
Visitors to Purple Skies Farm can schedule a photo shoot, fish at the lake (reserve at www.fishmyspot.com), and rent the lake or a designated field for a private picnic. Additionally, the home on the site has a room for rent for weekend stays.
The farm sells produce to local restaurants and at a pop-up stand on the farm itself. During the season, its farmer’s market is on Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM.
Visar Duane, the heart and soul of Purple Skies Farm
Purple Skies Farm is run by Visar Duane, who is also an occupational therapist. She is originally from Cambodia and cares deeply about nature and our impact on the Earth.

As always, we are honored to showcase our local growers and everything they do to help the community procure fresh, local foods.
