CSA - Full Session Wrap-up

We’re in the last few days of our summer season CSA. The Full Session wraps up on October 31st, and we said goodbye to our Summer Session members a few weeks ago…

It’s been a fantastic 22 weeks! We even had a bonus farm stand before the session officially began, which was a great success.

Thank you to every single one of our CSA members! We’re so glad you value local food, and we’re overjoyed to help connect you with local farms, growers, bakers, and producers.

We’re so grateful you joined us this summer to eat and celebrate the local food that Northeast Ohio has to offer...

Thank you from everyone at Grace Brothers, and also from our farmers, our pantry businesses, our meat suppliers, and everyone who worked to bring you food this summer!

Our Summer Session had 62 members, while the Full Session had 145, for a total of 207 members.

Thank you to our volunteers who physically handed out the bags at Independence, Lakewood, and our partners at Precision Metal. We couldn’t do this without you.

During our Harvest Festival, we had six vendors and two food trucks, along with coloring pages and mini pumpkins for each CSA member.

We also had our first-ever cooking contest that just finished up last week.

During the Summer Session, we sourced food from many places…

We worked with 13 local small business owners to provide our pantry shares. We bought produce from 14 different growers, some directly in our North Royalton community, some a bit farther away in Medina County or Rittman, Ohio. Of course, we got a lot of bread from Stone Oven bakery as well as two Amish bakers who provided bread and baked goods.

During Full Session, we had a few more suppliers…

We sourced produce from two more growers than our Summer Session. We also worked with eight more businesses to deliver our pantry shares.
